We at Radio Data Comms want you to know that we appreciate your business, and will continue to do all we can to ensure that your company receives personal and professional service. With this in mind RDC are proud to announce a number of major enhancements to the ‘Permaconn GPRS’ solution you have in place.
Detailed below is a brief description and of our new products and services:
At long last we can remove the dreaded ‘A/B’ data switch. Both receivers can now be switched on – all the time. Signals can arrive at both ports simultaneously, but will not be duplicated. The automation software or buffer software must be set up to merge the two (2) data streams into one. So all you require is another serial port on your automation software.
The Permaconn IP ‘Virtual Receiver’ software module provides a connection to the Central Station for all Permaconn & SafelinQ signals. It is intended to run as an active alternative path to the current GPRS based Central Station Receiver Unit (CSRU 2000). Please note that the IP connection is Primary with GPRS secondary. Signals can arrive at all ports simultaneously, but will not be duplicated. The automation software or buffer software must be set up to merge the data streams into one.
The new Permaconn Disaster Recovery Control (DRC) utility allows the remote switchover of associated Permaconn & SafelinQ devices between an existing primary Central Station, and a pre-nominated secondary Central Station. This means Permaconn outstations & SafelinQ GPS devices can be redirected to an alternate Central Station in an instant with the ‘click’ of a button.
The PM1025 interfaces with a range of alarm panels using RS485 / RS232 communications and Contact ID (DI-200 Module required). The PM1025 is similar to the existing PM1020 but now has the following features.
All Central Stations enabled with Permaconn can now receive messages from the Bosch 16i panel when fitted with the CM750B IP module, using the end-user’s IP connection. Simply programme the Bosch panel with the ‘Conettix NNC’ format and the relevant settings supplied with the free ‘Permaconn Pack’. There are two (2) plans available Class 2 (20 minute polling) and Class 3 (40 second polling). All hardware is available directly from Bosch.
The Permaconn IP module (IP62) will be available in the next few weeks. The IP62 module plugs into the PM1020 / PM1025. Existing PM1020’s can be retrofitted with the IP62 module. When the IP62 module is fitted onto a PM1020 it has one (1) input and one (1) output available for use, when used on a PM1025 this output / input cannot be used. Many new plans will available with the release of this module.
With the release of ‘Bosch IP’ and ‘Permaconn IP’ we now have thirteen (13) data plans available. From the simplest being Bosch IP (Class 2++) to IP + Dual GPRS (Class 5).
To ensure RDC maintains a high level of customer support it has become necessary to instigate a standard charge for the following services.
We are pleased to announce that Bosch Security is now an authorised national distributor of the complete range of Permaconn GPRS hardware. All hardware available from Bosch is sold at RDC’s published trade pricing.
RDC’s commitment to the security market is ever evolving, dedicated to deliver the preferred choice of secure wireless monitoring solutions.
Our engineering department have many new products still under development, which will enable our clients to offer monitoring solutions in our ever changing telecommunications environment. As each telecommunication change arises - rest assured RDC will have the hardware solution to adapt to these changes.
